Welcome to Buffalo PAL TV! 

We hope you enjoy tuning into our new PAL YouTube Video Channel where we will feature daily workouts, fitness routines that incorporate cardio and strength exercises, yoga, mediation, cooking demonstrations, recipe tips, health & wellness advice, and educational programming that is designed for kids, teens, and families to enjoy!

TIPS OF THE WEEK

TIP #1: Ways to protect yourself & the community

  • Wash your hands often
    • With soap and water for 20 secs
  • Avoid close contact
    • Social distancing at least 6ft
  • Cover mouth and nose with mask while in public
  • Clean and disinfect often
    • Frequently touched surfaces like doorknobs, switches and tables

TIP #2: Fun ways to stay active

  • Find your favorite TikTok
  • Take 30mins to learn dance
  • Practice with and without the music
  • Lastly, DANCE

TIP #3 At home workouts #PlankChallenge

  • Concentrate on form
    • Forearms on the ground
    • Biceps aligned with shoulders
    • Back straight
  • 3x for 30 sec

TIP #4: Build your own Yogurt Parfait

Ingredients:

  • Yogurt of your choice
  • Plain, Vanilla, Strawberry
  • Fresh Fruit of your choice
    1. Strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, etc…
  • Granola
  • Honey

Combine all together in one bowl and enjoy

TIP #5: Sidewalk Chalk Ladder Drills

  • What you need:
    • Chalk
  • Draw ladder on sidewalk
  • Footwork Drills you can practice:
    • High Knees
    • 2 feet in each square
    • Hopscotch
    • Skipping
    • Lateral
  • Go through each drill for 1 min to get heart rate up
