S.T.A.R (Share the Art of Reading) & STEM

Overview

The STAR program is a partnership between Buffalo PAL and Literacy Buffalo Niagara. This program provides weekly enrichment activities that develop the behaviors of strong readers. Activities emphasize vocabulary building, fluency, and comprehension. The overall goal of the program is to get our youth reading for fun and to “Share the Art of Reading”.

The STAR program operates afterschool during the school year two days a week at one Community Center located in the City of Buffalo.

Dates: Monday’s and Wednesday’s

Time: 5:00  – 7:00 pm

Location: Machnica Center (1799 Clinton St, Buffalo, NY 14206)

The STEM program is a partnership between Buffalo PAL and F.A.T.E. This program provides weekly hands-on STEM (science, technology, engineering, math, and computer science) experiences.

Time: 5:30  – 6:30 pm
